Historical Places in India




When we talk about Historical places in India, the first name comes in my mind is Rajasthan. Rajasthan is a land of  Rajputanas dynasty. Many Rajput kings have ruled over Rajasthan. Their beautiful palaces, forts are present in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur.

Mughal Emperor ruled over India for a long time and mughal forts and palaces present in many parts of India. But if we want to see Mughal architecture, Uttar Pradesh is the best place to see. Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Delhi are the main places where you can see mughal architecture.
In the south, Mysore state is famous for Tipu Sultan’s dynasty. Many other kings and emperors came to India and took their own culture.

Here we present a list of some famous Historical places in India.

Jaipur: Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It is also called as ‘pink city’. Every year thousands of historical lovers attracted to Jaipur, due to its enormous ridge of sand in desert.

Agra: Agra is  a city of Uttar Pradesh. It is also called city of Taj. Agra has a great importance. It was the former capital of India,  at  the time Mughal Emperor. Agra is known as major  tourist destination of India, because of many historical buildings of Mughal Empire.

Fatehpur Sikri: Fatehpur Sikri, a small city of Uttar Pradesh with a number of beautiful architectural monuments. The Great Mughal Emperor Akbar found Fatehpur Sikri  in the middle of the 15th century.

Jodhpur: Jodhpur is located on a mount of small hill in the Thar desert. Jodhpur is also known as ‘blue city’ with its row of blue-coloured houses. Mainly tourists attractions of Jodhpur are its palaces, forts, lakes, culture.

Mysore : The Mysore Palace of  India  is  one of  the  finest  pieces of  architecture  in India. Mysore Palace or  Mahal is located  in Mysore  city  of Karnataka  state in southern part of India. It  is also  recognized as the Amba Vilas Palace.


Ajanta Ellora Caves: The famous Ajanta caves are located in the Maharashtra state. These caves are found to be in the Jalgaun district. These caves have a tremendous spiritual significance that these caves were created in the 2nd century. Ellora caves are just 100 kilometers away from these caves, which carries some beautiful Jain temples and caves of Buddha religion.

Famous Wild Life Sanctuaries in India



Here we are presenting a list of some famous National Parks and Wild Life Sanctuaries of India.

Sundarban Tiger Reserve: Sundarban Tiger Reserve is famous for Royal Bengal Tigers. It is situated in West Bengal. More than 400 tigers are present in Sundarban. The Sundarban is covered with dense forest of Sundar tree.

Ranthambore National Park: Ranthambore National Park is famous for its tigers, it is situated in Sawai Madhopur Rajasthan. You can enjoy Jeep safari and sure you see tigers in single safari.

Gir National Park: Gir National Park is famous for its Asiatic lions. This is the only place in Asia where these creatures found. It is located in Gujarat.

Kaziranga National Park: Kaziranga National Park is famous for one-horned-rhinoceros. It is located in Assam. Other animals of Kaziranga are also famous in India.


Bandhavgarh National Park: Bandhavgarh National Park has highest density of tigers in India. It is located in Madhya Pradesh. White tigers can be seen here.
